RD Chesters Ltd was established in 2002 by Owen Thomas after making a promise to the late, great David Chesters to keep his name alive!
Since that time, the business has gradually grown to the business that it is today serving farmers and landowners in Herefordshire and the surrounding counties of Gloucestershire, Powys, Monmouthshire, Shropshire & Worcestershire.
RD Chesters Ltd are able to use their buying power as both a merchant and farmer to secure cost saving contracts.
These savings are passed directly on to our customers, thereby offering great value for money on all their products and services.
We operate out of a purpose-built office at Owen’s family farm at Hennerwood where Owen has also established a bull beef unit finishing approximately 1000 bulls a year.
We are both UFAS and FIAS accredited enabling us to offer a fully traceable supply chain for both feed and fertiliser.
The RD Chesters Ltd team consists of Owen as MD, Heather Hadley as office support, Sophie Allen as a part time administrator and Simon Stoney as a part time sales agent.
We are proud to offer a friendly and comprehensive service to all of our customers and new customers are always welcome.
